Hoodwinked! Swedish singer extremely pleased with the Fleet Foxes cover that never was

Robyn has been fooled into believing that Fleet Foxes had covered ‘Dancing On My Own’, announcing on Twitter that she was “flattered” that she’d been given the full beardy band treatment.
In fact, Fleet Foxes hadn’t done anything half as fun as covering the Swedish singer. The cover was the work of an anonymous blogger, who posts cover versions in the style of the band on the Fleet Foxes Sing Tumblr page. The band denied that the covers were their work back in the summer, after a cover of Whitney Houston’s ‘I Wanna Dance With Somebody’ circulated the internet.
