Good grief, as the Beach Boy disses The Eagle big time
LOS ANGELES, California. Don Henley, leader of country-rockers The Eagles and life-long fan of The Beach Boys, met Brian Wilson in 2005 after a Smile show in LA. Keen that the meeting should be commemorated in some way, Mr Henley asked his hero if he wouldn’t mind signing a copy of a Beach Boys album he’d brought with him. “Thanks for the great music…” Wilson began, before crossing out ‘great’, replacing it with ‘good’ and adding his signature.
