BESTIVAL boss, Rob Da Bank, is planning to set up a fund for the victims and all those affected when a bus, on which festival goers were traveling back home, crashed on September 10th.
The 52-seater vehicle was travelling north from Portsmouth to Merseyside when it hit a tree on the A3 at Hinhead in Surrey. Three people lost their lives, including the driver, and 50 were injured, some still remain in hospital with ‘life changing’ injuries. The police have confirmed that it was not the road conditions or the weather that caused the crash.
Rob Da Bank, real name Robert Gorham, confirmed through a tweet, that the fund would be going live soon. “We will be launching a @Bestival fund for those affected by the crash in the next 24 hours… and appreciate how many people wanna help/donate : )”
