Syria’s Omar Souleyman is back in the UK this summer to play Field Day. That’s excellent news for anyone who’s yet to experience his “jacking Arab trance music”, as Kev Kharas called it in his piece for the Pigeon back in 2009. Read that here
Mr Souleyman is supremely photogenic and we always meant to post a gallery of other images from our snapper Gary Manhine’s incredible shoot with Omar, which took place in the Boston Arms pub in north London (of all places) just before Kev’s interview.
