Rising R&B star samples Aaliyah on new track 'NEEDSUMLUV'
New track from lady of the moment Azealia Banks here, who gets her tongue out her lady companion’s muff just about long enough to croon over ‘NEEDSUMLUV’, a number featuring Machinedrum on production duties. A fizzing glitch-hop number cribbing from the late, great Aaliyah (who would have turned 33 today), it’s another tantalisingly short glimpse of an artist who has succeeded in generating a lot of heat with only a few short tracks available to listen to online. Still, guess we can’t all have our c—t and eat it too, we suppose.
