Music: Christopher Owens

Former Girls frontman Christopher Owens has announced his debut solo album, Lysandre, for early 2013. The record is framed by its author as “a coming of age story, a road trip story, a love story,” and describes a love affair with the French girl of the title, who Owens allegedly met while out on tour with his old band in 2008. Produced by Doug Boehm, it will be released on Turnstile (Fat Possum in the US) on January 15 next year.
