Music: Hopsin
Have a listen to the latest offering from the ill mind of the LA rapper

THIS TRACK, ‘Ill Mind Of Hopsin 5′, is currently going bananas of the net, unsurprisingly: if you’re young and a little bit lazy/horny, consider yourself SCHOOLED. Not much comeback to this — a ferociously intelligent and bruising combo of gangsta rap and Memphis horrorcore by a gifted MC that comes off like Eminem’s really-pissed-off West Coast cousin.
It’s the best thing we’ve heard by Hopsin, who used to be signed to Ruthless Records — the label set up by N.W.A.’s Eazy-E. He left them after a beef over money, finding a more natural home online, where his super-visual videos get hit in the millions on YouTube. Watch as the plays clock up on this one.
