Music: Tyler, The Creator

TYLER, THE CREATOR’S abrasive collection of tweets and lyrics often suggest that the guy has no heart. However, this morning’s tweet in support of Frank Ocean’s statement was, if not poetic, still fairly nice.

Despite not being the biggest heart-melter around, Tyler (interview!) has good taste when it comes to summer jams. This time last year, the Odd Future MC released a tape of songs under the pseudonym DJ Stank Daddy and now he’s compiled a 2012 version featuring songs that didn’t make last year’s cut. The tape is titled, obviously enough, Songs That Didn’t Make The First Summer Camp Mix and features tracks by the likes of Estelle, LCD Soundsystem, Mariah Carey, TLC, Sleigh Bells and Stevie Wonder among the others, plus a couple of unheard Tyler songs.
