Bookies suggesting Adele will have the best-selling UK LP ever by next year
SO, as has been much reported this year, Adele has sold a lot of copies of her second album, 21 — so many that she’s been charging up the chart of the biggest-selling albums in UK chart history, like, ever.
She currently sits at number 6, above Bad by Jacko and Brothers In Arms, and well within in her sight are the top five — Queen’s Greatest Hits, Sgt. Pepper, ABBA’s Gold and Thriller (in that order). Insane, really, and bookies are now convinced she will reach number 1 — very soon.
Freshly released are William Hill’s odds on when (not if) Adele is going to the toppermost of the poppermost…
When will Adele’s 21 become the biggest selling album in the UK ever?
4/6 – 2012
6/5 – 2013
16/1 – 2014
33/1 – 2015
10/1 – Not before 2016
Or you could have a flutter on this instead, bearing in mind she’s number 1 in the normal charts again…
How many weeks will Adele’s 21 be at No.1 between now and the end of the year:
4/1 – less than two weeks
5/2 – two to three weeks
2/1 – four to five weeks
11/4 – six to seven
6/1 – over seven weeks
