Electro-pop artist debuts new musical featuring elderly strippers and exploding phalluses

PEACHES has unveiled the film version of her semi-autobiographical musical, edited together from her live stage performances last year.
Titled Peaches Does Herself, the electro-opera is comprised of twenty songs from her four albums and is apparently based on Peaches’ own life story.
From the synopsis on the Canadian musician’s official site, it seems like it might be rather loosely biographical: “[It's] the story of a young woman who, inspired by a 65-year-old stripper, begins to make sexually forthright music. Her popularity grows and she becomes what her fans expect her to be: transsexual. She falls in love with a beautiful she-male, but gets her heart broken and then ventures on a path of self-discovery.”
Apart from Peaches, the cast includes Naked Cowgirl Sandy Kane as the 65-year-old stripper in question, transgendered porn star Danni Daniels, electronica artist Mignon and a dance troupe charmingly known as The Fatherfucker Dancers.
Also among the set and props used in the performance are various models of labia, laser harps and, best of all, two pyrotechnic phalluses, which Peaches explains were “done by Babes in Horny, a company that makes dildos”.
A working prototype of matching exploding breasts were, sadly, replaced after some technical problems, though Peaches tells Spinner she has no regrets about that one: “I must say the dick was much better than the boobs.”
