Gig for Gaza

Pigeon writer Cyrus Shahrad is also in Smoke Feathers, who are headlining a gig for Gaza on March 21 at The Luminaire, north London.

Two of the greatest & brightest lights go out

Lux Interior, founder of the Cramps and psychobilly innovator has died at the age of 62 in Glendale California. Our thoughts go out to his wife and Cramps guitarist Poison Ivy. Here is some amazing footage from a show that took place at the state mental institution in Napa California. How I wish I was there.

John Martyn has joined the great gig in the sky this week after losing his battle with double pneumonia in Ireland. Martyn always put creativity ahead of formula and has left us a back catalogue of unparalleled candor and beauty.
