One of the most respected hi-fi technicians the world knows right now, DJ Krush can dine out on sushi and pretend he’s a household name. He’s “arguably the most gifted producer in the world,” says his press release, but they would say that. Certainly innovative once, Krush is keeping his fans keen, but this montage of onstage antics and psychedelic nonsense will not win him any new fans. Krush will be filling places in January. But it’s February now, so that’s entirely irrelevant. As is most of this DVD. Get 300 out instead. It might be a bit racist, but you can’t argue with homoerotic, subliminally American led polemic masquerading as a Greek tragedy. Sparta! Etc. Where was I going with this?
