What’s this? Guest singers? Playfulness? Fun? Is our itinerant one-man band and Pigeon regular Benjamin Darvill showing signs of mellowing? Nah, he’s just stepping up his dirty game, swinging a little lilt into his swagger and showing that he truly loves what he lives. Sunlight may be seeping into the studio through the cracks he made in the walls, but he’s still the meanest motherfucker with a mouth slobbering the blues today. A stone groove.
